Developed in partnership with Robert Blum at Johns Hopkins University, Girl Effect has launched Adolescence: Age and Stage; a cutting-edge report fusing biological and cognitive science research with international development expertise to explore the distinct stages of adolescence.
The study, commissioned by Girl Effect, looks at the distinct stages of adolescence and how boys and girls develop differently at each stage. It also identifies several “golden threads,” or common themes, that are true across many different contexts and informed by cognitive and behavioural science.
