Tania is 25 years old and is from Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. She lives with her husband and child. She usually works as a primary school teacher, but this work has ceased for the time being due to COVID-19. Before the pandemic, she would spend her time preparing lessons, cooking, and chatting to her neighbour and mother.

“I would have loved if government would have reached everywhere helping out the needy giving them out masks. Because masks are very important, even now they are needed. For example, at the school where I teach the government tells us to send back learners with no masks, but then we actually see that this child can not afford a mask, but we are forced to send back the children back home because they don’t have masks.”
